In order to protect the health and safety of employees and students, those who access Pasco County School locations must self-screen for symptoms and other risk factors of COVID-19.  If you answer yes to any of the questions, you should NOT be on a school campus or in a district office.  The screeners are accessible on our Covid-19 Screeners page.  Additional information about COVID-19 can be found in the district’s Covid Daily Report , COVID protocols, and Learning From Home Resource guide.

Welcome to Gulf Highlands Elementary!

Great things are happening here. On our campus, in our classrooms, and in our community, we are pursuing excellence and inspiring change.  We encourage a high level of engagement from our faculty, staff, students, and community.

I am a firm believer that by working together, as a GATOR community, we will raise that bar for our students. Here, our staff, faculty, and students hold themselves to a greater standard as defined by our Collective Commitments. We are driven to care for humanity and the world; learn throughout a lifetime; think critically; cross boundaries and disciplines; and develop creativity. It is with these core values at the forefront that the Gulf Highlands community achieves excellence in every endeavor. These principles shape our students’ personal and academic success during their elementary years, and long after they’ve crossed the stage to secondary school, and then their future.

Gulf Highlands is nestled in the heart of the Gulf Highlands subdivision in Port Richey, Florida. It’s doors opened in the Fall of 2006. The foundational hope was to create learners ready for the unknowns of the 21st Century. Today, we continue to strive to embody the vision of creating a place that fosters ingenuity, innovation, and growth.

I invite you to discover what it means to be a GATOR. Come meet our exceptional faculty and staff, and immerse yourself in the opportunities to get involved as a volunteer. Gulf Highlands is a place to realize how much we make a difference in our students’ lives. Our faculty prioritizes their attention to creating learning that lasts. We pride ourselves in providing a community where our students will acquire the knowledge and skills for success well beyond their elementary years of schooling.
